Billy VanInwegen

    In 2008, Billy V was Racing for a Reason.  He competed in The Tobias Speedstr series in a Midget owned by Ray Evernham.  Racing for a reason is an Evernham foundation which supports The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and many other charitable organizations and efforts at national and grassroots levels through four core approaches; horsepower, education, health and entertainment.

Three of Billy's hometown sponsors helped to support Billy in his efforts to raise money for Ray's Foundation.   Johnson & Conroy Insurance Co., Hank Conroy Motorsports, and Len & Jo's Restaurant of Port Jervis,NY  have all made a donation and have pledged to continue the fund raising into the 2009 racing season. 

  Billy V was at The Gillett Evernham race shop in Mooresville, NC on October 17th.    Ann Eaton is the chairperson for Ray Evernham's  Racing for a Reason Foundation.    She is shown here accepting Billy's 2008 race season contribution check for $500.
