Volusia Trip Goes Well for Billy V

February 15th.... The Len & Jo's Race Team had a great time in Florida.... Billy raced a Big Block Modified with the SuperDirt car series at The Volusia Co Speedway.... There were 2 days of rain, a fuel system issue, and some set up problems..... But overall, Billy proved he is very capable of competing with the great drivers and teams of The Super Dirt Car Series...... In the 3 nights of racing, Billy got seat time for 60+ green flag laps...... He nearly qualified for Saturday night's 50 lap main event..... In his heat race, Billy was running solidly in the 4th position with a few laps to go...... A caution flag flew which enabled ROC Champion, Pat Ward to slip by Billy's #23 on the double file restart.... Billy was disapointed but the team saw something great in his performance..... Everyone is now looking forward to the 2010 season... Plans are being made to compete in the Selinsgrove,Pa ROC race and the Hagerstown SuperDirt race in March.
